Red lentils with the skin removed and the seed split, giving a small orange-red piece that needs no soaking. In the pan they soften fast and collapse into a thick, smooth texture, turning yellow-gold as they cook. That behaviour makes them a standard ingredient for dhal, soup bases, pie and pasty fillings, and for thickening sauces in batch production.
Sold in whole sacks. Combine this with up to 4 other products to fill a pallet — the cart shows how full each pallet is.
