Organic red split lentils, skinned and split to give a small salmon-orange piece. They cook quickly without soaking and break down to a soft, golden purée, which thickens soups, dhals and sauces without added starch. Manufacturers use the split form where a smooth, fast-cooking base is needed, and it also mills to lentil flour.
Sold in whole sacks. Combine this with up to 4 other products to fill a pallet — the cart shows how full each pallet is.
