Bulgur is wheat that has been parboiled, dried and cracked, so it needs only a short simmer or a soak in hot water to become tender. It has a light brown colour, a mild wheaty flavour and a chewy texture that holds up in dressed salads and fillings. Kitchens use it as a quick-preparing grain base that takes up dressings and stocks well.
Sold in whole sacks. Combine this with up to 4 other products to fill a pallet — the cart shows how full each pallet is.
