Nutritional yeast flakes are an inactive dried yeast in light, yellow flakes. They have a savoury, cheesy, umami flavour and no raising power. The flakes disperse easily into sauces, soups and doughs and cling well to snacks as a dry seasoning, so they are used mainly as a flavouring ingredient.
Sold in whole sacks. Sacks beyond a full pallet can share a pallet with up to 4 other products — the cart shows how full each pallet is.
